10 Travel Tips : It is expected that arabpacker.com members are good-natured, however you should not forget safety precautions.

1. Let at least one of your relatives or friends know where you are going.
2. Write down the number of the closest embassy near the place of your visit.
3. Make sure your cell phone works abroad. If you do not have a roaming SIM card, buy it as soon as you can when you arrive.
4. Make sure you have enough money to be able to return back home immediately at any time in case of emergency.
5. Once you arrive call your relatives or friends to let them know you are fine.
6. Your passport is the most important thing you own while traveling – take care of it.
7. Travel insurance for backpackers – its not that expensive and it might come in handy if you get something stolen.
8. What to purchase for your backpacking trip. Don’t spend all of your travel money before you even leave home & keep 500$ as a Minimum pocket money with you.
9. Keep passports, money and bank cards in a money belt around your waist.
10. Carry as little cash as possible and Use your online banking.
